Bob is going to found a home
for wayward
poodles and redheads. A living legend of Manitou Springs,
Colorado, Bob is perhaps the textbook definition of the word
"eccentric." When we first moved into Manitou, Bob greeted us by saying,
"I'm Bad Bob and this is Mean Mike and if you're gonna live in Manitou
you gotta have a nickname."
I shot Bob as a kind of drive-by. Completely un-posed, the shot was taken from my car as Bob stood in the doorway of his garage. Luck of the draw, the light cooperated with me, lending even the baddest of Bobs a kindly and gentlemanly nobility. Of course, I know better.
