My parents divorced when I was four and I didn't get to see my father again until I was twelve. which was when I started to rebuild my relationship with him. One of my most difficult subjects, it's pretty impossible to catch my father in an unguarded moment where he wouldn't have his "camera face," his "I'm quite aware I'm being photographed" face on. This is one of maybe two or three shots I have of him where he exhibits some truth and vulnerability.
